I appreciate the opportunity to work directly with clients on a piece of work which is individual and which complements the environment where it will be placed. I recognise that all homes and tastes differ and greatly value the clients' input in this very personal piece of artwork.

I therefore find it helpful to visit the intended site beforehand to establish the degree of light, the colour scheme and a feel of the surroundings. To me, this initial communication process is essential to understand fully the ideas and wishes of the client.

After this preliminary process I then begin to develop a design and make scale drawings along with sourcing glass samples and providing estimates.

Only when we are all completely happy will I start the assignment.
